Giant’s Causeway

The Giant’s Causeway is an area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, the result of an ancient volcanic eruption. It has inspired artists, stirred scientific debate and captured the imagination of all who see it.

You can walk to the stones for free, but the car park is reserved for those buying tickets for the Visitor Experience, which includes a guided tour and use of the audio guides, available in 11 languages.

Take a walk with giants and explore one of the incredible UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Perfect for couples and families with spectacular scenery and mythical tales.

Dunluce Castle

Situated on the dramatic coastline cliffs of Co Antrim, Dunluce Castle is a short 5min drive from the Portrush Atlantic Hotel. Dating back to 1513, Dunluce Castle holds the story of the MacQuillan family, and how it was seized by the MacDonnell clan in 1550. Today visitors can explore it’s ruins, reading all about its history including the tales of a banshee. Parking is available and tickets are required for tour, with discounts for families it is a captivating and impressive must visit for all the family.
