COVID-19 FAQs

COVID STATUS CERTIFICATION

We are currently operating in line with the NI Executive’s Covid Status Certification scheme.  As a licensed venue, we now require all guests to provide confirmation of their vaccination status or proof of relevant LTF/PCR test results at check-in.

For more details on the guidelines, including exemptions, visit https://www.health-ni.gov.uk/news/faqs-covid-status-certification, or contact a member of our team.

We would like to remind guests that we have a zero-tolerance policy against violent, threatening and abusive behaviour towards our team members. Our team aim to be polite, helpful, and respectful to all guests’ individual needs and circumstances, we ask you to treat our teams courteously at all times.

From Monday 29th November, NI Executive regulations state that customers need to provide confirmation of their vaccination status or proof of relevant LTF/PCR test results on entry.

This will become compulsory from Monday 13th December, prior to this date we will not be refusing entry but we are encouraging all guests to be ready.

We do not hold any opinions on these requirements, along with all other licensed premises, we must comply to continue trading.

We thank our customers in advance for their support.

FAQS

What are the new measures?
From Monday 29th November, we will be requesting the following on entry in line with the NI Executive’s Covid Status Certification scheme;

  • Paper or digital vaccination certificate (via app or vaccination card with photographic ID)
  • Certification by text or email of a negative lateral flow test within 48 hours of arrival
  • Valid notification of a positive PCR test taken no earlier than 30 days and no later than 180 of arriving at the hotel
  • Proof of participation in a government registered clinical trial
  • Medical exemption evidence

This is applicable for all guests over 18 years arriving at the hotel from Monday 29th November, and is anticipated to be enforceable from 13th December after the two-week grace period put in place by the NI Executive.

What happens when I arrive at a hotel?
Our staff will require your proof of covid status when requested. If you can have one of the methods outlined ready on arrival it will ensure we can process this quickly and enable you to move onto enjoying your visit.

Do the new measures apply to all guests (both hotel residents and those attending events etc)?

The new measures apply to all guests over 18.

How do I register on the CovidCertNI app?
You will be required to create an NI direct user account. This requires having some information at hand, including the dates & locations of your vaccines and photo ID.  This process takes around 5-10 minutes to complete so we kindly advise you to register before your arrival.

How will you protect my data?
We do not store any information when scanning your Covid Vaccine Certificate.

Will you be offering lateral flow tests?
No, we will not be providing lateral flow tests as these need to be completed before arrival and certification by text or email through the NHS reporting app will be required.

I’ve previously tested positive for Covid within the correct time frame. What proof do I need to provide?
Please show the email or text message you received with your positive results and the date of when your PCR test was taken.

I am attending with children under the age of 18, are they required to show their Covid status?
Currently the guidelines are not applicable to anyone under 18 years old.
